2014-October-Workshop

In collaboration with Indian Council of Historical Research, the Department organized a three day workshop on Research Methods in History from 27 to 29 October 2014.Dr.C.Haridas,Course Director welcomed the gathering.

2014-Bharanabhasha Varaghosham

As a part of ‘Bharana Bhasha Mathrubhasha’- Bharanabhasha Varaghosham, Department organized a one day workshop in association with Kerala, Cultural Department,Kerala Folklore Academy and Kerala Archive Department on November 6th 2014 for the propagation of Malayalam language

2017-October- Career Guidance &Counselling Workshop

The Department organized a one day work shop on August 12th 2017 on Career guidance and counselling . Ranjith Kumar ,Assistant Professor, Department of History, C.K.G Memorial Govt College, Perambra and trainer in career orientation and counselling took classes.

2018-August- Career Guidance &Counselling Workshop

The Department organized a two day work shop on August 3rd&4th 2018 on Career guidance and counselling under the sponsorship of IQAC, Kannur University

2018-March-National Workshop - Indigenous Knowledge

Dr.Manjula Poyil, Head of the Department, was the joint coordinator of the 3 day’s National Work Shop on Ecology, Culture and Heritage: Mapping Indigenous Knowledge Beyond Discipline organized by Department of History and Heritage Studies ,Department of Tribal Studies and Department of Anthropology at Kannur University Thalassery Campus, Palayad on 14-16 March 2018
